Simplify Your Recruiting and Sales Process
One exclusively notable new feature rolled out in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 November update is the Activity Feed feature. This powerful tool allows users of an organization to communicate, collaborate, and update information for a particular record inside Dynamics CRM and 1Staff, then monitor that record, through a Facebook-like user interface. The application includes a main record wall, where updates are posted from a collection of records you wish follow, and a record wall for each particular entity activity feeds are configured. (See my previous post for configuration and setup of the Activity Feeds)
This Facebook like user interface is optional and users can still see all of the activity by selecting the ‘what’s new’ option. Users may determine which entities to incorporate these record walls. (See my previous post for configuring Activity Feeds for Custom Entities)

Activity Feeds allow your sales and recruiting team to collaborate and stay current through a compendium of updates on any customer record important to them. Posts can be automated through workflow or displayed manually by users. Watch this short video to see the power of activity feeds in the sales process inside Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 and 1Staff.
